Sebastián Espino Sosa

Professional Trajectory

Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 1959, Sebastián Espino is a chemical engineer with a postgraduate degree in industrial project management from the Instituto Químico de Sarrià (IQS) and has completed the Management Development Programme (PPD) at Esade.

He joined Ercros in 1984, when he was Plant Manager and R&T Coordinator at the Flix factory. After a few years working in other companies, in 1989 he rejoined Ercros as Head of R&D Processes and Projects.

In recent years he has been Deputy Head of the Innovation and Technology Department. In 2020 he was first appointed Head and subsequently Director of this department.
