Teresa Conesa Fàbregues

Professional Trajectory

Born in Barcelona in 1958. She holds a degree in Information Sciences from the Autonomous University of Bellaterra (Barcelona).

Between 1981 and 1982 she worked as an Editor for several Televisión Española, TVE, programmes in Madrid and Barcelona. In 1982 she joined Televisió de Catalunya, TV3, where she was News Editor and Correspondent in the Madrid branch. She has been Director of the Information and External Relations Office of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (1989-1992) and Head of the External Communications Office of Tabacalera (1993-1995). In 1996 she joined Ercros as Director of Communication; in 2005 she was appointed Director of the General Secretariat of the company until 2020. Since then, she has been Director of Institutional Relations and Communication.

She is a member of the communication commission of the Chemical Industry Business Federation (Feique), Plastics Europe Ibérica and Cicloplast, and a member of the organising committee of Expoquimia.

She has been a member of the Advisory Committee of the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) and of the boards of directors of Agencia EFE (1989-1993), Tabapress (1993) and Tabacmesa (1993-1995).
