Students at the Vila-seca II factory accompanied by Ercros staff

A group of 32 students and two professors of 4th year of Chemical Engineering at the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid has visited the Tarragona industrial complex of Ercros.

The visit began at the Tarragona factory, where the heads of operations of Vila-seca II and Tarragona, Gonzalo Quintilla and Elisenda Benet, explained the main characteristics of the company and the integration of the three factories of the Tarragona complex, and then delved into the operation of the Vila-seca II factory.

Afterwards, the students went to this factory to visit it. On this occasion they have been accompanied by Gonzalo Quintilla himself and Ricard Saez, head of the PVC plant, and Sergi Fuster, technician of the VCM plant.

The visit was of a technical nature, appropriate to the Chemical Engineering career that the trainees are studying.  The undergraduates have thanked Ercros for the explanations and the willingness to open the doors of their production center.
