Ercros takes part in the interactive session of the EuroChlor General Assembly

Ercros participated in the interactive session of the EuroChlor General Assembly held last Friday, September 13 in Brussels. EuroChlor is the organization that represents the European chlorine industry.

Francisco Gracia, head of the R&D department of basic chemicals, is also president of the EuroChlor sodium chlorate commission, and took part in the assembly to report on the activities carried out by this commission.

The sodium chlorate product group (SCPG) works to promote best practices, support the long-term sustainability of the sodium chlorate industry and promote the benefits of this product. Its main use is the bleaching of paper pulp and is a key ingredient in the production of paper and cardboard.

Ercros occupies the presidency of the former group of sodium chlorate from Cefic (European Chemical Industry Council), which has recently been included as a new group in EuroChlor.
