High school students visit the Ercros factory in Almussafes

Almussafes,

A group of students from the Almussafes institute have visited the Ercros factory in this town. The students have toured the factory facilities with company technicians and have been able to see first-hand how a chemical industry works.

The students, who are in their second year of high school and who, therefore, this year must decide what studies they are going to do, have taken advantage of the visit to find out about some of the career opportunities that chemistry offers.

The Almussafes factory is part of the intermediate chemicals division of Ercros. It directly employs about 115 people and exports 55% of sales. The activity of this centre is the production of formaldehyde and, from this product, resins and paraformaldehyde.
