The families of PVC compounds, Etinox F and Etinox X, produced at the Ercros factory of Monzón (Huesca), have been certified with the VinylPlus supplier seal. The product line manager for PVC compounds and specialities, Rafael Mancho, and the factory's sustainable development technician, Aurélie Verne, have collected the certificate from Juan Cardona, general manager of Kiwa in Spain, the Dutch company that issued it.

With this seal, the European vinyl manufacturers distinguish the exceptional sustainable development performance of these Ercros PVC compound families, as well as the help that the company provides to their customers in the construction sector when making informed decisions about the PVC compounds they purchase.

The initiative is born from the VinylPlus 2030 program, which includes companies that produce, transform and recycle PVC resin and its additives, from the 27 EU member countries, plus Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Adhering to this voluntary commitment, the signatory companies must work actively to accelerate the transition of the PVC value chain towards a circular economy.

With the VinylPlus supplier certificate, which has now been awarded to PVC compounds, and the ECVM Industry Charter certificate, awarded a few months ago to PVC and vinyl chloride produced at the Vila-seca II factory, in addition to the "Spanish and Sustainable Plastics Industry" (Ipes) seal from the Spanish Association of Plastics Industrialists (Anaip), Ercros has the most demanding European and Spanish sustainable certifications for its vinyls.
