We participate in the Congress of Ergonomics and Psychosociology

Rosa Ferràs, head of technical prevention at the Ercros factory in Tortosa, has been a speaker at the International Congress of Ergonomics and Psychosociology held in Gijón. Specifically, he has participated in the panel "Ergonomics, human factors engineering and mental load" in which he has contributed her knowledge on the prevention of occupational accidents and the promotion of the well-being of the people who work in the company.

This congress has brought together the leading international experts in work ergonomics, the discipline that deals with adapting the work environment, tools and tasks to the characteristics of the workforce, in order to protect their mental and physical health.

The Spanish Association of Ergonomics and the Asturian Association of Ergonomics have been the entities in charge of the organization of the international congress, which has reached its 18th edition.

All Ercros factories have a management system that includes occupational health and safety, which is in accordance with the specifications of ISO 45001 and the requirements of the Healthy Organization Management System ("SIGOS"). In addition, the company, as a signatory of the Luxembourg Declaration, is committed to integrating the basic principles of occupational health promotion into its business strategy.
