We received a visit from gas treatment experts in Cerdanyola

The Ercros factory in Cerdanyola has been visited by a group of researchers specialised in bioreactors for the gaseous emissions treatment design. This visit was led by the environmental technology company Aeris and coordinated by the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
Among the participants was Marc Deshusses, chair professor of civil and environmental engineering at Duke University (USA), a renowned expert in biological gas treatment field, whose scientific work has been widely recognized by the international community.
Héctor Barón, director of the Cerdanyola factory, was in charge of receiving visitors and introducing them to the company and the factory's activities. The group then went to the gaseous emissions treatment plant (bioescrubber), where Amadeu Ricart, responsible for technical assistance at the centre, detailed to the visitors the operation of this facility.
