Ercros' ESG practices earn the highest distinction in the EcoVadis rating
Ercros has obtained 84 points out of a possible 100 in the international EcoVadis rating. This result places Ercros in the top 1%.
Ercros obtained 84 points out of a possible 100 in the international EcoVadis rating, which evaluates the ESG (environmental, social and governance) practices of companies. This result places Ercros in the top 1% of the 20,000 companies analysed, enabling it to receive Platinum recognition for the third consecutive year.
Ercros improved three points over the previous year's rating and stood out in the environmental (90 out of 100) and labour practices and human rights (90 out of 100) categories. It also raised its score by 10 points in the areas of ethics (80 out of 100) and sustainable procurement (60 out of 100). It is worth noting that Ercros' results in these areas are well above the average for companies in its sector.
EcoVadis has also identified 148 strengths in Ercros' sustainability performance, including: the company's commitment to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions, its comprehensive policies on environmental issues, the improvement of its energy efficiency through technological upgrades, the existence of labour policies that cover all aspects of protection and development of its workforce, the high level of scope of business ethics actions in all its operations and the implementation of sustainable procurement policies with respect to social and environmental factors.
