The factories in Monzón, Sabiñánigo, Tortosa and the three factories in the Tarragona complex (Tarragona, Vila-seca I and Vila-seca II) have an environmental management system that complies with the EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) regulation, awarded by Aenor International.
The EMAS regulation is a management tool developed by the EU that recognises those organisations that have implemented an environmental management system and have made a commitment to continuous improvement, verified by independent audits.

Environmental declarations
The application and renewal of each EMAS certification is accompanied by an environmental statement, the purpose of which is to provide public information on the evolution of the environmental performance of the facility concerned, as well as to convey the efforts made to continuously improve the environmental impact generated by the activities of these facilities.
