Blanca Rius, new Tortosa factory manager

Blanca Rius Painous has been appointed as a Ercros’ Tortosa factory manager, effective as of 1 December. She will replace Àngel Punzano Gil, who is leaving the company voluntarily and who is thanked for his services.

The new manager holds a degree in Chemistry from the Rovira i Virgili University of Tarragona and holds master’ degrees in Chemistry in Industry and Occupational Risk Prevention from the same university.

Before joining Ercros, she worked in the environment and energy unit and in the catalyst plant of a multinational in the chemical sector. In 2012, she joined Ercros' Tortosa factory as a technician in the R&D department. Eight years later, she was transferred to the Cerdanyola factory to take up the position of head of technical assistance and product development, a position that she has held until her current appointment.
