Chemistry students begin their work experience at the Tarragona complex

This week, five students from the Higher-Level Training Cycle in Industrial chemistry at the Comte de Rius Secondary School have started their internships at the Ercros industrial complex in Tarragona («CIT»). Three of them will do their internships at the Vila-seca II factory; and two, at the Vila-seca I and Tarragona factories, respectively.

The CIT director, Joan Miquel Capdevila, welcomed them and gave them an explanation of the centres. Afterwards, they received an initial training on human resources, prevention, environment, energy, quality, and medical service, given by technicians from each department.

In the next few days, each student will join it respective centre of the CIT, where they will continue their training.
