Chemistry students from the University of Zaragoza visit the Sabiñánigo factory

Two groups of 50 students from the University of Zaragoza's chemistry degree and master's degree have visited the Ercros factory in Sabiñánigo accompanied by four professors. The visit, which takes place every year, is promoted by the Organic Chemistry department of this university center.

It is an initiative that the teachers themselves describe as very positive, since it involves an interesting contact with the productive sector and a suitable complement to the theoretical studies taught in the classroom, it also allows the students get a real idea of the complexity involved in chemical production on an industrial scale.

Technical staff from the Ercros factory in Sabiñánigo introduced the company to the students, as well as the productive activity it carries out and, in more detail, that of the potash, sodium chlorate and hydrogen peroxide center.
