The mayor of Almussafes visits the Ercros factory

The mayor of Almussafes, Toni González, visited the Ercros factory in this town, accompanied by Elena Baldoví, director of the Local Development and Socioeconomic Promotion Agency.

The visit was the first formal meeting between the director of the factory, Fernando Burgueño, and the representatives of the council, and was used to inform them of the investments that are being carried out in the factory, with greater detail in those related to improvements of safety and the environment. They also talked about the incidents caused by Dana and the actions that should be carried out to avoid further consequences, such as those that happened in other parts of the region.

Finally, the mayor and the director of the Agency took a tour of the factory, stopping to observe the progress of the new projects. They were accompanied, in addition to the director, by the chief of Operations, David Aguilar; the chief of Engineering, Juan Cebolla, and the chief of Industrial relations, Xelo Aranda.
