Ercros celebrates its most disputed padel tournament

About twenty brave people from the Ercros Diagonal offices and the Vila-seca II factory participated this Friday in the second edition of the padel tournament, organized by the health prevention department with the invaluable collaboration of Mario García, a padel pro.

The competition, which is part of the healthy Ercros program, was held on the Aurial Pàdel Cornellà slopes. The event began with a first phase of 20-minute non-stop matches, in which details of the high quality of the game of the 10 couples divided into two groups began to be seen.

The first in each group faced each other to determine the absolute winning couple, while the second, third, fourth and fifth competed among themselves to win for the next positions. Finally, after a close dispute, the couple formed by Alayn Fernández and Jordi Vives, teammates from Vila-seca II, won, playing against the inexhaustible Xavi Serra and Roger Pascual.

A close-fought competition but held in a fantastic atmosphere, which enjoyed good weather, despite predictions of rain. It all ended with a well-deserved and reconstituting snack on the terrace of the sports facilities.

Legend has it that whoever takes part in this tournament is blessed by the god of sporting talent and sees how their sporting ability is transformed forever more. We'll have to wait for the third edition to find out...
