Ercros' ESG practices obtain the highest distinction in the EcoVadis rating

Ercros has obtained 84 points out of a possible 100 in the international EcoVadis rating, which evaluates the ESG (environmental, social and governance) practices of companies. This result places Ercros in the top 1% of the 20,000 companies analysed, which has allowed the company to receive, for the third consecutive year, a Platinum recognition.

Ercros has improved three points compared to the previous year's rating and has stood out in the sections of environment (90 points out of 100) and labour practices and human rights (90 out of 100). In addition, Ercros has raised its rating by 10 points in the sections of ethics (80 out of 100) and sustainable purchases (60 out of 100). It should be noted that Ercros' results in these matters are well above the average of the companies in its sector.

Likewise, EcoVadis has pointed out 148 strong points of Ercros' sustainability performance, among which the following stand out: the company's commitment to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions, its exhaustive policies on environmental issues, the improvement of its energy efficiency through technological updates, the existence of labour policies that cover all aspects of protection and development of its workforce, the high level of scope of business ethics actions in all its operations and the implementation of sustainable supply policies regarding social and environmental factors.
