What is it for?
Potassium carbonate is used:
- In the pharmaceutical, food, fertiliser, pigment and dye industries, liquid soaps and detergents, paint strippers and in the chemical industry in general.
For the production of ceramics. - For the manufacture of glass for cathode ray tubes, lighting, laboratory equipment and optical instruments.
- For the manufacture of household tableware.
Potassium carbonate is used to manufacture special glasses.
