Celebration of Women's Day in Sabiñánigo

The Ercros factory in Sabiñánigo has commemorated International Women's Day with a recognition event honouring the effort and dedication of both current and retired female workers, who have been the protagonists of a mural created for the occasion. The presence of women in the factory has grown significantly; in 1999, they represented 3% of the workforce, while today they make up 16%.

The event was attended by forty people. The manager of the centre, Elena Simón, addressed them a few words in which she highlighted the importance of equality in the workplace and the progress that the company has made in this regard. Simón explained that "in this factory we know that talent has no gender, and that sustainable growth involves diverse teams, where women have the same opportunities for leadership, professional development and work-life balance".

The event concluded with a special recognition of retired female workers, whose presence is a symbol of the legacy and evolution of women in the industrial sector.
