Ercros receives the first Pilot 2019 award for logistics excellence

Ercros has received the first Pilot 2019 award in the category of large companies for the logistics excellence applied in its factory in Sabiñánigo. The award, granted by the Government of Aragon, through the Aragonese Institute of Development (IAF), was presented this Tuesday in Zaragoza by the Minister of Economy, Industry and Employment of the Aragonese Government, Marta Gastón, to the director of the Ercros factory in Sabiñánigo, Luis Gállego.

The competition's evaluation criteria are based on the structure and planning of the supply chain; the optimal allocation of resources; customer service needs; communication, the exchange and analysis of information, and the internal organization and importance of the logistics function.

The Ercros factory in Sabiñánigo, which has just turned one hundred years old, is one of the plants with the greatest tradition in the Aragonese business fabric and the largest national manufacturer of sodium chlorate, sodium chlorite and TCCA, and an important manufacturer of chlorine and caustic soda . Its products have applications in the textile, food, detergent, agricultural, paper and swimming pool water treatment sectors.
