Open day with more than 60 participants in Cerdanyola
On 18 November, the Ercros factory in Cerdanyola held an open day attended by some 60 people, most of them family members of its staff. The event was also attended by the mayor of the town, Carles Cordón; the councillor for economic promotion, Cristina Padilla; and the president of Cerdanyola Empresarial, Jaume Maranges.
The day began with words of welcome from Ramón Jané, deputy industrial director of the intermediate chemicals division, in which he thanked the visitors for their presence. Afterwards, Fernando Burgueño, director of the factory, gave an introduction to the Ercros Group and, more specifically, to the Cerdanyola centre. The attendees were then divided into several groups, led by the heads of the factory's departments, for a tour of the facilities.
The attendees made a very positive assessment of the day and were grateful for the opportunity to see first-hand the factory where their relatives work.
