UAB students visit the Ercros factory in Cerdanyola

Cerdanyola,

A group of 35 third- and fourth-year students of the Chemical Engineering degree at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) visited the Ercros factory in Cerdanyola.

They were received by Fernando Burgueño, factory director, and together with Adolfo López, production manager, and Amadeu Blasco, plant technician, he oversaw accompanying the group on a guided tour of the Ercros facilities.

The students showed special interest in the control room and the bioscrubber, a biological treatment facility for air from manufacturing processes.

The future chemical engineers took advantage of the visit to inquire about the future of work in their professional sector.
