Ercros obtains 87/100 points and renews the highest distinction from EcoVadis

Ercros has obtained 87 points out of a possible 100 in the international EcoVadis rating, which evaluates the ESG (environmental, social and governance) practices of companies. With this result, the company improves by two points the rating obtained last year. This data places Ercros in the 1% of companies with the best classification among those evaluated in the last 12 months and allows it to renew, for the sixth consecutive year, the Platinum seal.

EcoVadis has identified 168 strong points in the management of Ercros' sustainable development. In the environmental field, it has highlighted the implementation of quantifiable objectives to reduce emissions and energy consumption, as well as the certification of its environmental management in accordance with the most demanding international standards. In addition, it has underlined its efficiency in the use of water and waste management, the reduction of polluting emissions and the commitment to renewable energies.

In terms of labour practices and human rights, EcoVadis has highlighted that Ercros promotes a safe and inclusive environment through policies on wage equity, health and safety, prevention of discrimination and continuous training. In business ethics, it has highlighted the strict policies on anti-corruption, protection of information and transparency. Finally, in the section on sustainable purchases, it has highlighted the good practices applied in the supply chain thanks to the integration of sustainability criteria and the periodic evaluation of its suppliers.
