What is it used for?

Clarithromycin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic indicated for the treatment of infections caused by sensitive microorganisms, such as Helicobacter pylori, or infections of the skin and respiratory tract, such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, chronic bronchitis or bacterial pneumonia, especially that caused by the bacterium Chlamydia pneumoniae.
