What is it used for?
Ercros produces paraformaldehyde with a richness of between 89 % and 98 % in formaldehyde, which allows its use in solid form.
Paraformaldehyde is a source of formaldehyde for special applications requiring a minimal amount of water and for standard applications where formaldehyde is not available.
This product is used in the manufacture of:
- Auxiliaries for the automotive industry.
- Urea, melamine or phenol resins, and resins for coatings.
- Paints and inks.
- Solutions for the petrochemical industry.
- Phytosanitary products.
- Polyurethanes.
